Say “I love you” with this guilt-free, decadent, chocolate mousse
Valentine’s Day is all about love—whether it’s for your partner, your friends, or (most importantly!) yourself. And what better way to celebrate than with a rich, chocolatey treat that nourishes your body and soul?
This Healthy Chocolate Mousse is packed with good fats, fibre, and antioxidants. It’s indulgent, creamy, and (of course) completely guilt-free. Perfect to share with loved ones…. or keep all to yourself - no judgment here!
🥄 5-Minute Healthy Chocolate Mousse (Serves 2)
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado at room temperature 
- 150g dark chocolate (70%) 
- 2 heaped spoons cacao powder 
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey 
- ½ tsp vanilla extract 
- 80ml coconut cream or milk of your choice for a silkier texture 
- A pinch of sea salt 
- Feel free to also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for some extra heat 
- Optional: Fresh berries, cacao nibs, or amarena cherries for topping 
Method:
- Melt the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over hot water, or in the microwave. 
- Smash the avocado and slowly add the melted chocolate. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and creamy. 
- Taste and adjust sweetness or cacao levels as needed. 
- Spoon into two glasses, chill for 10 minutes (or eat straight away!). 
- Top with cacao nibs, berries, or amarena cherries and enjoy!
